How much does a tax return cost in Brisbane?

An individual tax return is $132 in Brisbane. A sole trader or ABN return is $330, and company or trust returns start from $660. A $20 deposit is paid when you book, with the balance due at your appointment.

What do I need to bring to my tax appointment?

Bring your income statement, receipts or records for deductions, private health insurance statement, bank details, and any information about investments, rental properties, sole trader income or other income. If you are unsure, bring what you have and we will help identify anything else required.

Do you lodge BAS and IAS?

Yes. We prepare and lodge BAS and IAS statements, including PAYG obligations. We can also help with bookkeeping, payroll, TPAR and QBCC reporting, and ATO payment plans.

How long does a tax return take?

The time depends on the complexity of the return and whether all records are available. Straightforward individual returns can usually be completed at the appointment. Sole trader, company, trust, investment and overdue returns may need additional preparation or follow-up.

I have not lodged tax returns in years. Can you help?

Yes, we can help you work through overdue lodgements without judgement. We will identify what needs to be lodged, help gather the available records, prepare the returns in order and discuss ATO payment-plan options if an amount is owing.

My books are a mess. Where do we start?

Yes. We work from whatever you have, whether that is a shoebox of receipts, a half-finished spreadsheet or nothing at all. We can set your books up from scratch and provide one-on-one training so you can stay on top of them.

What areas do you cover?

We are based in Kobble Creek and serve South East Queensland, including Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Scenic Rim, Toowoomba and the Lockyer Valley. We work remotely and also offer mobile appointments.

No, you do not need to come into the office. We work remotely and offer mobile options, so you can meet online or we can come to you.

A sole trader should consider becoming a company when the business needs a different structure for growth, asset protection or tax planning. We can discuss your circumstances and explain the compliance and cost implications before you decide.
